From swim lessons, to swim teams, to competitive success – the USA Swimming Foundation strives to ensure that every child has the opportunity to start their own journey to be safer in, on, and around the water.

Serving as the philanthropic arm of USA Swimming, the USA Swimming Foundation works to strengthen the sport by saving lives and building champions. By equipping our children with the life-saving skill of learn-to-swim and providing financial support to our heroes on the U.S. National Team, the USA Swimming Foundation aims to provide the wonderful experience of swimming to kids at all levels across the country.

The USA Swimming Foundation aims to provide the opportunity for every child in the U.S. to learn to swim. Through an annual grant program and by partnering with swim lesson providers and water safety advocates across the country, we help to support swimming lessons and educate children and their families on the importance of learning how to swim.

BUILDING CHAMPIONS

By providing funding to teams, athletes, and programs, the USA Swimming Foundation works to build champions and create a legacy for future generations of swimmers.
